Lift Tracker ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS application.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the app's core functionality:

Workout data — exercises, sets, reps, weights, and session duration you log within the app. This data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
Location data — only when you use GPS-tracked cardio exercises (e.g. Outdoor Run). Location is used solely to map your route and calculate distance. We do not store or transmit your location data to any server.
Health data — if you grant permission, we write workout summaries to Apple Health. We do not read health data from other apps unless explicitly required for a feature you enable.
Usage analytics — we may collect anonymised, aggregated usage data (e.g. features used, crash reports) to improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the app's functionality
To save your workout history locally on your device
To sync completed workouts to Apple Health (with your permission)
To send notifications you have opted into (rest timers, workout reminders)

Data Storage

Your workout data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. We do not operate a backend database of user workout data. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed from your device.

Third-Party Services

The app may integrate with the following Apple frameworks and services:

Apple HealthKit — to write workout summaries with your permission
Apple Core Location — to track GPS routes during outdoor cardio
Apple Push Notifications — to deliver rest timer and workout reminders

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use advertising networks or tracking SDKs.

Children's Privacy

Lift Tracker is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Your Rights

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can delete your workout history within the app, or delete the app entirely to remove all associated data. For any privacy-related requests, contact us at the address below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
